The cycle of sleeping and waking of cats are variable. Not like human, cats sleep several times within short period during day and night. At onset of sleeping, the cat looks as if it asleep but readily woken. Within less than 10 minutes the cat will be in normal sleep phase. After 10-30 minutes later, the cat enters paradoxical sleep phase. Then again, another 10 minutes, the normal sleep phase resume. These two stages may alternate if the sleeping bout persists.
During paradoxical sleep, the cat difficult to rouse, the muscle tone almost completely loss, individual muscles may contract suddenly, bilateral eyes movements can be observed and the tail and whiskers may twitch. In this stage the cat are dreaming. Moral of the story don't kaco2 kucing hangpa tido ngehehehehe
